Terms of use
The rules for using Batchillo: a free meal-planning and batch cooking app, without medical advice.
Updated 2026-10-13
The service
Batchillo plans meals for your household, works out portions, makes the shopping list and guides the prep. It is free and provided as is, without a guarantee of continuous availability.
Not medical advice
Calories, protein and portions are automatic estimates for healthy adults, calculated from published formulas and USDA or label data. They do not replace a doctor, nutritionist or dietitian.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 19 or over 78, have a chronic illness or an eating disorder, or follow a diet on medical advice, talk to a health professional before following a plan.
Always check product labels for allergens: Batchillo's allergen information is a help, not a guarantee.
Food safety
Fridge and freezer days follow general guidance. Cool, store and reheat food safely and use your judgement: if in doubt, throw it out.
Your account and your recipes
You are responsible for access to your email. Recipes and photos you add remain yours; by saving them you allow us to store them and show them to you and the people you share your household with.
Don't add content you have no right to use. A recipe imported from a website is kept for your personal use, with a link to its source.
Acceptable use
Don't try to access other people's data, overload the service or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Batchillo is not liable for damage resulting from using the plans, recipes or calculations. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will say so in the app before meaningful changes. Questions: ola@batchillo.com. Portuguese law applies.
