Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 2 Apple (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 150 g Brie cheese (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C or use the air fryer at 180 °C.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden. Take the chicken breasts out of the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt. Add the sliced apples and cook for 2-3 minutes, until soft.
  4. Place the browned chicken breasts in a baking dish. Top each breast with slices of brie, then spread the cooked apples on top.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the honey and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  6. Put the dish in the preheated oven or air fryer and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Take out of the oven and let rest a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve hot.
